The 10 Best Hotels in Carlsbad, California - Resorts, Beaches, Oceanfront and More (2023)

The best hotels in Carlsbad, California range from luxurious to casual, and my personal favorites include both. You will benefit from the insights I have gained about Carlsbad hotels through personal experience, reader feedback and VIP contacts at the hotels I work with.

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa is known for its relaxing nature and kids clubs in San Diego. When it comes to luxury hotels in Carlsbad, Four Seasons lures devotees like me to the Four Seasons Club at the Aviara.

I also included hotels near Carlsbad Beach and Legoland California in this post because many families are looking for them.

I've recommended luxury Carlsbad hotels that I'm affiliated with and can help you enjoy extras like complimentary breakfast, room upgrades, spa credits and more. Those are perks you can't get on your own.

Katie's note: I mentioned that hotel reservation sources I know offer the best rates through loyalty programs or programs that are popular with readers. The prices and equipment mentioned are subject to change. If you order through a link on this site, I may earn a small commission.
